Compositions

Jeremy has been an avid composer and arranger nearly all of his life. He grew up improvising, rather than playing the notes on the page as a child. Once he received classical training in music, he began to transcribe the music he had arranged. Jeremy was fortunate enough to encounter composer K. Lee Scott in Birmingham, AL, with whom he worked on choral arranging. He currently studies composition with renowned sacred composer, Mark Hayes. He has arranged pieces for a variety of special events, mostly in the sacred genre, and he frequently performs new piano arrangements for church audiences, many of which include modern techniques. He has written a variety of choral arrangements for several different voice and instrumental configurations, including women's chorales, SATB, TTBB, and boys choirs. A limited number of these works will soon be made available online, and will be listed below. O Holy Night for Piano, Violin, and Voice

This arrangement features the first stanza in French (with optional English for those uncomfortable with French), and two stanzas in English. The violin and voice feature moments of virtuosity, with a moderately difficult piano accompaniment. This arrangement makes use of hemiola and syncopated rhythms.
